My Background

My professional journey has been diverse and fulfilling, spanning roles as a financial advisor, nurse, educator, and manager. I’ve supported people in challenging situations throughout my professional life - from birth to death and everything in between.

My personal experiences have also been transformative, involving marriage, divorce, parenting, moves, career shifts, disasters and more. These challenges have all contributed to my depth of empathy and understanding.

Astrology called to me for many years. I began learning from Maria Shaw in 2001. More recently, I studied traditional astrology with Samuel Reynolds, and completed a practitioner’s certificate in Horary Astrology from the School for Traditional Astrology. I use the Western Tropical zodiac and a combination of traditional and modern techniques to meet your needs.

I am the New Orleans Astrology MeetUp organizer, and member of the Organization of Professional Astrologers (OPA) and the International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR).   I am the Senior Editor and occasional contributor for OPA’s magazine, The Evolving Astrologer.

My education includes two BS degrees (Economics and Nursing), an MS in Nursing and a PhD in Nursing Education and Administration. I am proud to be a Registered Nurse and hold a specialty certification in nursing professional development. My life’s mission has been to assist others in finding comfort,  empowerment, and liberation.
